According to the Fayetteville Police Department:

On Friday, September 17, 2010, at approximately 12:40 am, a black male wearing a blue shirt and blue hat armed with a handgun approached a couple walking in the parking lot of Wal-Mart, 125 Pavilion Parkway. The suspect demanded the victims’ wallet and purse. The victims were able to escape from the offender who fired two rounds at them not striking either victim or object in the parking lot.

The suspect was accompanied by another black male 5’11 to 6’0, thin build, wearing a dark short sleeve shirt, dark pants, and a yellow and black hat.

The suspects fled the scene in a maroon SUV with customized rims.

Patrol Officers and Detectives canvassed the area for both witnesses and evidence.

A reward will be offered for information leading to the arrest and convictions of person(s) responsible.
