Pre-K lottery registration begins Jan. 22 | Schools
FAYETTE COUNTY, Ga. -- Registration for the Fayette County School System's state-funded Pre-K program begins later this month.
Pre-K students are randomly selected through a lottery drawing. Registration for the lottery begins Tuesday, Jan. 22 and will be held through Feb. 28.
Parents can register their children daily from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at any of the Fayette County elementary schools offering Pre-K, including Burch, Cleveland, Crabapple Lane, Inman, North Fayette, Oak Grove and Peachtree City.
Only 22 students will be selected for each Pre-K class. Those who are not chosen will be placed on a waiting list.
The lottery drawing will be held Friday, Mar. 1.
