New Olive Garden names first-ever manager | Restaurants

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. -- Stan Minniefield has been named the first general manager of metro Atlanta's newest Olive Garden restaurant.

The Atlanta resident will be responsible for leading a team that exceeds customers' expectations at the Fayetteville restaurant, which is scheduled to open on February 27.

"I'm very excited about the opportunity to lead the Fayetteville restaurant and a great team at Olive Garden," Minniefield said. "Our team members are focused on providing excellent service while treating all of our guests like family."

Minniefield has worked for Olive Garden for five years, most recently as the general manager of the Lithonia location. He is also one of more than 1,200 managers who have participated in Olive Garden's Culinary Institute of Tuscany program in Italy, where employees are immersed in Italian culture and cuisine.
