FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. -- Storms over the past several weeks have brough heavy rains and a lot of wind gusts.  That means trees have been brought down and limbs have fallen.

But, getting rid of that "tree trash" may be more difficult that you might have thought.  Unless you have a compost pile or a place on your property to dispose of the yard waste, you're probably going to have to make a trip.

"Yard Waste including limbs, leaves and grass are not picked up by the City or our service provider," the City of Fayetteville says on its website.  "Yard Waste can be disposed of at the Fayette County Transfer Station, 221 First Manassas Mile Road, Fayetteville, open Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, except New Years Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas day.  Call 770-719-1183 for additional information including fees."
