4 Fayetteville teens charged with theft, gang activity | News
FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. -- The Fayetteville Police Department and Fayette County Sheriff's Office arrested four teens on Thursday.
After serving four search and arrest warrants, two in the City of Fayetteville and two in Fayette County, four teens are being charged with robbery by snatching, theft by taking and gang activity. Further charges may be pending, according to a Fayetteville lieutenant.
Trenton Headley, 17, Tyrek Armstrong, 17, and Michael Powell, 17, all from Fayetteville were arrested. A 16-year-old juvenile, also from Fayetteville was arrested but there is no name released at this time.
Property and evidence was seized from three of the four warrants. They come from an investigation looking into cases where a purse and cell phone were stolen from Fayette County High School and Open Campus students. The crimes took place in late August and early September.
