Man fatally stabs wife, turns self in | Crime

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. -- A Fayetteville man has turned himself in to authorities one day after reportedly stabbing his wife to death during an argument.
The incident happened on Jan. 20, when investigators with the Fayette County Sheriff's Office responded to a call about a domestic dispute. When they arrived at the home on Greenview Circle, they discovered the body of 30-year-old Liliana Ruiz.
A witness reportedly told police that the suspect, 34-year-old Jesus Ojeda Jimenez, was hiding in a nearby house. Deputies established a perimeter around the home but, when a SWAT team entered, they found that the suspect wasn't there.
Jimenez turned himself in to the Fayette County Jail on Jan. 21. He has been charged with murder.
