Fayette County Sheriff's Det. Josh Shelton said Davis is accused of stabbing 29-year-old Jessica Tolbert on May 24. Tolbert was taken to Piedmont Fayette Hospital, where she passed away.
Witnesses told investigators they saw Davis leaving Tolbert's Fayetteville home after the stabbing. Atlanta Police and the U.S. Marshals Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force helped Fayette County Sheriff's officials catch up with and arrest Davis in Atlanta Tuesday morning, Shelton said.
