FAYETTEVILLE – (submitted by Melinda Barry-Dreisbach) Pageant goers and participants enjoyed a day of beauty and fun while helping support one of Fayette’s largest cancer research and prevention fundraising events.

The sixth annual Miss South Fayette County Beauty Pageant, held at Brooks Elementary on March 5, raised $1,500 to benefit Relay for Life. Each year the pageant’s proceeds are donated to a worthy cause; this marks the first year the funds have gone to Relay for Life.
