FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. -- Police have identified the victim of a deadly Fayetteville shooting and the company he worked for plans to offer a reward to find his killer.
Police are investigating after a Applebee's manager Gregory Smith, 27, of College Park was found dead in his car outside the Fayetteville restaurant.
Police said that he was found by his girlfriend around 6:30 a.m. dead in his car with a gunshot wound.
Police said that she went to the restaurant at 792 North Glynn Street to find him when he didn't come home the night before.
Police confirmed that the man was shot and found the bullet entry-point in the driver's side window and shell casings nearby.
Police are now canvasing local businesses for surveillance video that may help the investigation.
